How Jokaya works
We are a "get-paid-to" platform: advertisers pay us a commission when you complete their offers, and we share that commission with you. Here is the full picture — including the parts other sites don't explain.
1. Offers come from advertising networks
Every offer on the wall is placed by an advertiser through an affiliate network: opening a bank account, requesting an insurance quote, subscribing to a service, installing a game and reaching a level, or answering surveys. When you complete one, the network notifies us and we credit your account with your share, in US dollars.
2. Validation takes time — and we show you how much
Advertisers verify every completion before paying: they check that the account is real, that requirements were met, that the subscription wasn't cancelled immediately. Each offer page shows the real average validation delay for that advertiser. Until validation, your reward sits in your pending balance.
3. The holding period
Once validated, rewards stay pending for a short holding period (currently 7 days) before joining your available balance. Why? Because advertisers can cancel conversions after approving them (fraud, cancelled orders, unmet conditions). The holding period means what you withdraw is money that will not be clawed back.
4. Cancellations happen — here's how we handle them
If an advertiser invalidates a conversion, the credit is removed from your balance and your transactions page shows the reason. We never hide reversals in vague "adjustments". If a reversal arrives after you have withdrawn, your balance can go negative and future earnings fill the gap first. Full details in our Rewards & Payment Policy.
5. Offers unlock progressively
- Tier 1 (surveys, videos, micro-tasks) — unlocked as soon as your email is verified.
- Tier 2 (games: install and reach a level) — after your first validated completion.
- Tier 3 (bank accounts, insurance, subscriptions — $20 to $80) — after 3 validated completions.
This protects the platform from fraud rings. Networks cut off publishers whose high-value leads are fraudulent — progressive unlocking is what keeps the big offers available for honest members.
6. Withdrawals
From $5.00 of available balance, redeem gift cards from hundreds of US brands. Requests are processed within 24 hours. Gift cards come in merchant-defined denominations, so the withdrawal page only offers amounts that can actually be issued.
